Tanzanian performer, Diamond Platinumz, has indefinitely postponed his much-hyped wedding with stunning Kenyan radio presenter Tanasha Donna. Miss Donna and the multiple award-winning bongo flava star were set to wed on Valentine’s Day next month, marking exactly one year since Diamond’s split from previous flame, Zari.
Platinumz explained away the cancellation as an attempt for better planning in order to throw a wedding whose grandeur could be synonymous with the British royal wedding, fix a date of convenience for a-list guests such as Omarion and Rick Ross, and as well to concentrate on much pressing business including the promotion of his music.
But most people are not impressed. Several music lovers took to social media to offer cruel, funny and bizarre sentiments on the matter. The most dominant reason for the postponement seems to be a belief that the couple is developing cold feet about the union.
And one such person to share that twisted opinion is Hamisa Mobetto, a model and Platinumz baby mama. The jilted ex seemed to aim a thinly-veiled dig at the couple by posting a video to Instagram of herself dancing to a Taarab song which carried a subtle message for an ex-lover.
Neither Diamond Platinumz nor Tanasha Donna have confirmed or denied the allegation. The couple has also chosen to remain silent on new dates for the wedding.
