What’s going on with Stonebwoy?
Maybe now we can understand why he recorded the song “LOYALTY” earlier this year.
We all know Stonebwoy to be the calm, cool and collected chap that likes to mind his own business until you remember how many public scuffles he has been involved with in 2018.
Four. And they are all members of his own label – Zylofon Music.
Kumi Guitar’s admission on radio about the trauma his family went through following his beef with Stonebwoy brought the latter’s feuds into perspective again.
Last month Stonebwoy was on the same radio station to address an issue with management member of Zylofon Media, Willi Roi.
Apparently, Willi Roi had let sentiments come to play which had cost Stonebwoy a big money recording deal with international R&B act, R Kelly.
Willi Roi who has openly confessed his dislike for Stonebwoy and personal preference to his nemesis, Shatta Wale, turned down R Kelly’s request without even informing Stonebwoy, driving the former VGMA Artiste of the Year berserk.
That same day nemesis Shatta Wale was in another studio addressing another feud with rapper Sarkodie.
Until Sarkodie and Willi Roi, the Reggae Dancehall rivals who are also signed to the same label had beefed over several issues including who was the better music act and who deserved which award.
Stonebwoy’s first public showing of outburst was when he angrily reacted to his rival’s accusation that he had sacrificed his late mother for fame and success.
Then there is also another Zylofon management member, Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bull Dog) – A&R Manager, who engaged the star in a street heckling incidence in March over Zylofon property.
The duo have never seen eye-to-eye since then, and indeed BullDog physically prevented Stonebwoy and his mentor Samini from a surprise stage appearance at Shatta Wale’s Reign album launch recently, before having another dig at both when explaining his rationale for the action.
So Shatta Wale, Willi Roi, BullDog and Kumi Guitar makes four feuds with people from your own record label, Stonebwoy!
That’s the same number of beefs as Shatta Wale… If you don’t count his beef with the Media, with Pastors, Prophets, Bullet, Yaa Pono, Wizkid, Samini, Charterhouse, Sarkodie and his soon-to-be wife, Michy.
